Welcome to the Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice

East Carolina University has a rich past in interprofessional education based upon grass roots initiatives from faculty and students. The Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice (IPEP) promotes collaboration among faculty, staff, and students from the following: College of Allied Health Sciences, Brody School of Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, College of Education, College of Health and Human Performance, College of Nursing, Eastern Area Health Education Center and various community organizations and clinics. Our work is guided by recommendations from National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education and by the Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice.
